The protection error
comes up while shutting down the computer. The computer
itself will prompt to restart the system. The error
may happen due to various reasons. It may happen if
there is damaged software or there is a hardware conflict
or any issue between the drivers with the computer.
However, we can easily trace these issues with the help
of full system scan.
To save the system from the protection error,
we may try these simple steps. First we need to click
on the "Start" menu and then need to open
the "Run" command. There we need to type "msconfig"
and click on "OK". After this we need to click
the "General" tab which will be located on
top of the "System Configuration Utility"
tab. Now we need to select the "Selective Startup"
section and check or uncheck each option in this segment.
Once we complete this, we can reboot the computer. In
this way we can eliminate the issue from the startup
programs. Moreover, we may uninstall particular programs
from the "Add or Remove Programs" in order
to fix the protection error.
However, if we still see the protection error,
then we can try out few more steps. This time we need
shutdown the computer first. Before we turn it on, we
need to stat tapping the "F8" key. The "Windows
Advanced Options” menu would come up and we need to
choose the "Safe Mode” and press the "Enter"
key. The main screen will come up. Then we will click
on "Start" menu and choose the "Control
Panel" option. From there we need to select "Add
or Remove Programs". We need to look for the program
installed right before the "Windows Protection
Error" tab. "Change/Remove" button. Now
